For the Mexico issue of Purple Magazine, artist and designer Sofia Elías was invited to illustrate an essay by acclaimed Mexico City chef Elena Reygadas. The collaboration explored the history and cultural significance of corn, tracing its journey from pre-Hispanic civilizations to contemporary Mexican life.
